LED therapy is often used after microneedling to reduce inflammation, promote faster healing, and enhance the overall results of the microneedling treatment by stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture, essentially minimising redness and downtime while maximising the anti-ageing benefits of both procedures; this is because LED light, particularly red and near-infrared wavelengths, can penetrate the skin and activate cellular repair mechanisms.
